The street is more than a transit space; it is a stage where stories, memories and glances intertwine. It is a territory that is rewritten every day with every step, every shadow, every fleeting encounter. Under this premise, Espacio Candela becomes an extension of this living space, presenting the exhibition 'CALLE', an exhibition that celebrates the multiplicity of views of the urban environment.

This exhibition is the result of an open call for photography in which talented visual artists participated. The winners, Ana Campaña (ESP), Dila Ramos (VEN) and Natalie Lama (JOR), present three works that capture the essence of the street as a reflection of the collective and the intimate, the ephemeral and the permanent. But the exhibition is not limited to the walls of Espacio Candela: for the opening, we took the images to the street itself, displaying the finalists' photographs on the shutter of the space. In this way, the exhibition broke the physical boundaries of the exhibition space and inserted itself into the dynamics of the urban landscape, turning the street into a gallery and the gallery into a street.

To further extend this visual dialogue, we produced a fanzine of the finalists' images, consolidating a tangible archive of this visual exploration. While the exhibition at Espacio Candela is temporary, the fanzine will remain as a testimony of this experience, a map that traces the traces of a territory in constant transformation.

CALLE’’ does not seek to define a single meaning, but invites us to walk through, inhabit and reinterpret this space of encounter. Because the street is, above all, the pulse of a shared life, a reflection where we discover the other.
